Recently I’ve had to switch a company from Thunderbird to Outlook due to interoperation with other company Calendar issues… The process has reminded me why I hate Outlook so much. Sure - feature wise you can’t beat the thing for whiz bang ‘all-in-one-do-everything-for-me-and-remind-me-to-make-coffee’ program, sure - you can’t beat it.

I hate Outlook because I have to support it. Supporting it means I have to fix niggling everyday issues like oh-so common ‘my inbox has frozen, should I reboot?’, or my favourite ‘i can attach a file but when I send it strips the attachment problem’

The consquence of this is that my stress levels at work has risen from 50% to 200% and soon I will have to invest in more black hair dye to cover up my grey spots.
