LS Wet ‘n’ Wild 07
There’s something to be said about running a muck in a fun park with a bunch of mates, so at LS we like to do it at least once a year!
Nils managed to take a bit of skin off on the Mach 5 and even bled a little. You could easily tell who had been on it with the red burns on their backs! I had heard these new rides were purchased second hand, I guess they might consider flowing a little more water down them. Still didn’t stop everyone going down again and again!
Stacky and Doibs managed to wow us all on the Torando with their combined weight throwing them higher then most of us thought were possible. I tried my best with Kent, but alas I nearly fell out. 
The same couldn’t be said for the Aqua racer however, with the challenge laid down by Stacky I managed to pull up first place! Sadly, Cara’s glasses didn’t make the trip down as the attendent told her to hold on to her glasses instead of leaving them on her head. I’m not sure how holding on to your glasses is better then leaving them on your head, especially when you are grabbing a rug and smashing your hands on the slide. In any case, her glasses met the end as they smashed in two at the bottom.
I didn’t take a definate head count, but I would guestimate around 30 people showed up. Unfortunately we werent able to organise that many people to stay down in the one place at the one time, so here’s a photo of the remaining people at the end of the day.
There are a few more photo’s on the LanSmash website… thanks to Franger for getting the ball rolling on this outing and thanks all smasher’s who came along! Was a wild time!
Launchy fun
I installed Launchy on Cara’s PC last night as I’m addicted to Quicksilver. Anyhow it turned into a quest to find the silliest combination… Some of the results were surprising.
